【主会场特邀报告】Turning Points and Future Trends in Pulsed Power Technology: A Western Perspective

   Abstract:Pulsed power – special conditioning of high peak power pulses – is widely used in two key areas: fusion technologies and the simulation of nuclear weapon effects.  Here, I will present my perspective on the evolution of the field of pulsed power technology – from its roots in radiography through the advanced simulation years to the most powerful machines in the world investigating physics of astronomy and fusion. In retrospect, a number of events may be identified as key to the direction the field of pulsed power technology took.  These influential events and their effects will be identified and discussed.  Finally, the technology trends and their implications will be discussed.

  JaneLehr教授(女),现任美国新墨西哥大学电子与计算机工程系主任、IEEE核技术与等离子体科学协会评估委员会主席。

  Lehr教授是国际脉冲功率技术领域知名专家,具有相当的建树和国际影响力。曾任圣地亚国家实验室高压脉冲研究领域专家,并获得空军基础研究奖。Lehr是IEEE核技术及等离子体科学协会前任主席,并担任IEEE传导与电气绝缘技术的联合编辑,等离子体科学技术的特邀编辑。Lehr教授曾任IEEE的Albuquerque区主任,6次获得区域杰出领导奖,获得新墨西哥杰出女性奖并进入新墨西哥名人堂。
